Job summary

Thomson Reuters is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI in Canada to shape AI-driven content technology. You will design and deploy AI/ML features, build scalable pipelines, and collaborate with product, tech, and labs teams to deliver impactful solutions for professional information access.

You will work on production-ready AI systems, optimize performance, and contribute to end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and maintenance while staying current with leading AI research and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with 3+ years focused on AI/ML development.
• Proven track record shipping AI/ML features to production.
• Experience with model training, validation, and deployment at scale.
• Background in real-time and batch ML inference systems.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, statistical methods, and privacy/ethics considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/ML-powered features from concept to production.
• Build and optimize neural networks, deep learning models, and other AI architectures.
• Develop APIs and services that expose AI/ML capabilities to internal/external systems.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews on AI/ML practices.
• Monitor model performance, latency, and resource usage in production.
