Job summary

Kinaxis is hiring a Senior AI Software Engineer for the Data Fabric team. You will design and implement execution patterns, tool-calling infrastructure, and runtime guardrails to enable agentic workflows on enterprise data at scale.

You will connect LLMs and agents to governed data on Databricks, wire workflows across Delta Lake and Unity Catalog, and ship APIs, SDKs, and runbooks for teams to adopt at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing resilient execution workflows, APIs, and production platforms.
• Hands-on production experience with agent frameworks, tool calling, state management, approvals, retries, and evaluation.
• Experience designing observable, self-correcting workflows with planning, verification, and governance.
• Experience applying automated testing, runtime feedback loops, and guardrails to validate agent outputs.
• Strong Python development for scalable runtimes and asynchronous services.
• Proactive builder who translates ambiguous problems into platform products.

Responsibilities

• Build core services and runtimes connecting LLMs and agents to governed data on Databricks.
• Wire agent workflows into Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL endpoints, and multi-cloud pipelines (GCP/Azure).
• Design multi-tenant boundaries across data, compute, identity, and execution context.
• Ship production-ready APIs, SDKs, reference implementations, and runbooks.
