Job summary

ResMed Global Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Engineer – Platform Engineering to design, build, and deploy intelligent agent-based AI solutions. You will leverage cloud-native and AI platform capabilities to develop production-grade AI apps, autonomous workflows, and RAG solutions that enhance decision‑making and productivity.

The role requires hands-on experience with AI agents, LLM frameworks, and integration with enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of software/ platform engineering or cloud engineering experience.
Hands-on with AI applications using LangGraph, Strands Agents, OpenAI Agents SDK, or similar frameworks.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Go and/or Python.
Experience designing microservices and integrating APIs with enterprise systems.
Hands-on production AI experience using LLMs.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows using modern LLM frameworks.
Develop AI-powered applications leveraging RAG, vector databases, embeddings, tool calling, and agent orchestration.
Optimize retrieval quality, accuracy, and performance with chunking, metadata enrichment, and hybrid search.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms like GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Datadog, Slack, Kubernetes, and internal APIs.
Create reusable connectors, tools, and agent capabilities for cross-system actions.
Establish best practices for testing, observability, security, and governance of AI apps.
