Job summary

Banque Nationale du Canada in Montreal is seeking a Senior AI Engineering Developer on the AI Factory team to lead end-to-end development of AI applications, including front-end, back-end, and data ingestion.

You will design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and ensure production reliability with Datadog and Splunk, while collaborating across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in software development and 1–2 years in AI solutions.
• Master React, Python, Elixir and Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, OpenSearch, EKS, EC2 and Lambda.
• Experience with ongoing integration and deployment using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Familiar with monitoring tools Datadog and Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Develop the front-end and back-end of AI applications, including React, Python, Elixir and Terraform.
• Design and implement data ingestion mechanisms for applications.
• Support and reliability of production applications in an end-to-end approach.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Deploy cloud solutions for AWS services such as S3, OpenSearch, EKS, EC2 and Lambda.
• Implement monitoring and alerts for application performance with Datadog and Splunk.
