Job summary

Publicis Sapient in Calgary seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive Agile transformation, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of high-impact digital products. You will work with stakeholders, product and engineering, facilitate ceremonies, manage backlogs, mitigate risks, and mentor teams while upholding quality and customer-centric outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years of Agile leadership, hands-on Jira/Azure DevOps experience, and a track record of delivering complex

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Agile program management or related roles.
• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe; familiarity with waterfall and hybrid approaches.
• Experience in resource and budget planning across multiple projects and roadmapping enhancements.
• Experience using Azure DevOps Boards as a PM and Scrum Master.
• Proven track record leading Agile teams and transformations at large organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Rally.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with senior leadership influence.
• Experience roadmapping, backlog management, and feature prioritization.
• Ability to analyze and optimize delivery processes with data.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile program management aligned with business goals and product strategy.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive team collaboration.
• Define and prioritize product backlogs with product owners and engineering.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Implement Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and optimize delivery processes.
• Track Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time) and report to leadership.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams to improve mindset and execution.
• Ensure cross-team coordination to deliver high-quality digital products.
