We have an excellent 6 months contract opportunity with possible extension for a Senior Agile Coach in Ottawa.
This is a remote role.

Must haves:

1. Reliability level Federal Security clearance is mandatory.
2. Scrum Master or Product Owner or Coach certification.
3. Proficient with Jira.
4. Assess and identify gaps in knowledge and understanding of how Agile works and lead the teams through training and enablement sessions.
5. Agile delivery experience of a hands-on and practical nature.
6. Advanced meeting, workshop and training facilitation skills in leading teams in the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies (5 + years of experience).

TITLE: Agile Coach

LOCATION OF WORK: Selected candidate will work remotely.

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week

DURATION AND POTENTIAL START DATE: Six month term.

SCOPE: Hands on Agile Coach working daily with Product Teams.

DUTIES:

1. Lead and mentor the product teams to implement and adopt product centric practices towards meeting our Enterprise Agility goals.
2. Work side by side with Scrum Masters, and the rest of the team. Introduce and establish techniques/tools to help shift cultural behavior/mindset.
3. Reinforce the practices/responsibilities with the Product Owners.
4. Use metrics/data from Jira, such as Sprint Reports, Velocity Reports, Flow Efficiency, to focus on opportunities for continuous improvement and more efficient delivery agility. Coach the Scrum Masters and Product Owners how to analyse and use this data to help with team decision making.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Must Have:

2. Proficient with Jira.
3. Assess and identify gaps in knowledge and understanding of how Agile works and lead the teams through training and enablement sessions.
4. Agile delivery experience of a hands-on and practical nature.
5. Advanced meeting, workshop and training facilitation skills in leading teams in the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies (5 + years of experience).
6. Work with the teams to identify and implement process improvements to improve both immediate and long-term productivity using Agile practices and tools.
