The location in Montréal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Agent, Accounts Payable (Temporary with benefits). This job is full-time temporary.

Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts payables, your role will consist in ensuring the optimal administration of Accounts payables.

  • Assist the Supervisor, Accounts payables in the reconciliation of accounts payables.
  • Mail and execute the weekly check run to all mills and internal customers.
  • Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate with locations, vendors, and managers to maintain the information files updated.
  • Act as a person resource for T&E daily inquiries and credit cards issuance.
  • Perform monthly audit on T&E credit cards and P cards to ensure the proper follow up of business processes in place.
  • Responsible for the daily incoming mail and maintenance of filing system.
  • Advise Supervisor on possible improvements on assigned tasks.
Your profile
  • You are available to go to the downtown office 3 to 4 times a week to open the mail;
  • You hold a college degree in accounting or have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in accounts payables processing in an SAP environment;
  • You have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
  • You have the capacity to work well under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • You are a proactive team member;
  • You possess strong analytical skills;
  • You master the functionalities of the Microsoft Excel application;
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • You are bilingual, French and English (oral and written).
