Job summary

NordSpace Corp is seeking a Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist in Markham, ON. You will own day-to-day procurement and logistics execution across engineering, test, manufacturing, and launch programs to keep hardware on schedule.

The role requires sourcing, quoting, PO management, and driving delivery commitments with suppliers, while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliant logistics operations for aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or logistics experience in aerospace or complex hardware environments.
• Hands-on experience buying engineered components, raw materials, and technical services.
• Track record of negotiating with suppliers and recovering late deliveries.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001) and incoming inspection.
• Strong organizational skills to run multiple POs and logistics across programs.
• Effective cross-functional communicator with ability to hold vendors accountable.

Responsibilities

• Run full procurement cycle for materials, tooling, and services from requisition to receipt.
• Maintain procurement schedules aligned with design releases and test campaigns.
• Source and quote vendors for flight-critical hardware and surface sole-source exposure to leadership.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers and reserve manufacturing slots.
• Own delivery recovery and escalate until parts arrive on time.
• Coordinate transport, handling, and storage of flight hardware and hazardous materials.
