Job summary

You will lead process development, SOPs, and validation activities, while collaborating with design/engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA).

A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in aerospace or related industries are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing products.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process control plans.
  • Collaborate with product design/engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
  • Support capital equipment selection, installation, and validation.
  • Support root-cause investigations for anomalies during testing or flight.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews and test reports.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment.

Technical Staff Full Time Ontario $75,000 - $95,000 CAD per year

Role purpose:
As a Manufacturing Engineer you are responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing instructions, and processes to ensure parts and products are produced efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. You will bridge the product design and manufacturing floor execution. You will work cross functionally with design engineers, technicians and the supply chain.

Core responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing products.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or production issues
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process control plans
  • Collaborate with product design/engineering teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
  • Support capital equipment selection, installation, and validation
  • Support root-cause investigations for anomalies during testing or flight
  • Create andmaintaintechnical documentation, including design reviews, test reports, and requirements traceability
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role in aerospace, aviation, nuclear or automotive
  • Proactive mindset:identifiesblockers (technical, schedule, resource, or process) early and drives them to resolution to keep the program moving.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada and eligible for registration under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
