EY Canada is seeking a Senior Advisor to join the FAAS STAAR group within Advisory Services. You will work on strategic transactions, accounting advisory, and reporting, applying IFRS and Canadian/US GAAP knowledge to complex engagements across industries.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a Canadian CPA designation, and fluency in French and English. Travel and client-facing responsibilities are possible within a Canadian team.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Canadian CPA designation or equivalent credential.
• Experience with audit or financial statement close processes helpful.
• Must be fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engagements researching application of accounting standards to transactions.
• Support transitioning to a new accounting framework and benchmarking practices.
