Metrolinx, an agency of the Government of Ontario, is seeking a Senior Advisor, Stakeholder Relations to support the Regional Transportation Plan for the GTHA. You will build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to enable collaboration and problem solving.

You will lead engagement at events, develop briefing materials, and translate complex policy information into clear content for diverse audiences, while mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science or related field.
• Experience in relationship building, stakeholder management, and planning.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; translate technical and complex information into clear, concise content.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence decisions.
• Meticulous attention to detail, time management and political acuity.
• Experience with project management tools (Asana) and CRM systems is an asset.
• Diplomacy, negotiation, and consensus-building experience.
• Experience in event planning or government settings is an asset.
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement initiatives is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Support the Senior Manager in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent Metrolinx at events and external meetings to promote initiatives.
• Analyze political environments and advise on engagement strategies.
• Develop briefing materials, correspondence, and reports for executives.
• Plan and execute stakeholder events, tours, and leadership initiatives.
• Translate complex information into materials suitable for stakeholder audiences.
• Track stakeholder feedback to improve engagement efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate stakeholder perspectives into planning.
• Mentor colleagues in stakeholder engagement practices.
