An established industry player is seeking a Senior Advisor in IT Architecture to lead innovative projects that shape the future of the organization. As a senior advisor, IT architecture, you actively monitor opportunities offered by new technologies and business approaches for the organization as a whole. You design solutions to meet the business needs of large-scale projects or programs based on architecture targets and supporting foundation. You ensure consistency with the organization's current and future needs and structure, while also ensuring that new components are compatible with the existing architecture (software applications, products, services, etc.). You lead and influence the organization’s business partners and specialists on solution or enterprise architecture initiatives that are strategic, complex and innovative. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth expertise across several technology and/or business fields and knowledge of data, applications and infrastructure. You make recommendations regarding solution or enterprise architecture. You produce specialized deliverables as part of projects or initiatives that have a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity, using your analytical skills and extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as an expert advisor and subject matter expert in your field, as well as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.
