Job summary

Desjardins Technology Group is seeking a senior sales and business development support advisor to nurture and maintain relationships with members and clients across multiple distribution channels. The role emphasizes strategic initiatives to boost development and profitability while retaining stakeholders and ensuring satisfaction.

You will analyze complex problems, propose personalized solutions, and serve as a specialist for your unit, representing Desjardins in important client agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to duties/work tools and interactions with partners, members and/or clients.

Job description

As a senior sales and business development support advisor, you help serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. You lead clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact multiple business sectors. You take a strategic mindset to boost the organization’s development and profitability while retaining clients and stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction. You draw on your networking skills and interpersonal savvy to develop and maintain business partnerships with important clients who have complex, diverse needs. Your complex, strategic initiatives require extensive knowledge of sales and service. You analyze highly complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs. You serve as specialist and resource person for your unit, members and clients and represent your unit before decision‑making bodies. You help represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients.

Responsibilities
