Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking a senior sales and business development support advisor to maintain and grow relationships with members and clients. You will guide multi-channel product and service sales, lead clients on strategic initiatives, and help transform opportunities into measurable growth and profitability while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.

You will act as a specialist and resource person within the unit, representing Desjardins in key agreements with clients, and collaborating

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Six+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of qualifications and experience.
  • French language knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

  • Advise practitioners and help evaluate business and partnership opportunities to boost development and profitability.
  • Help members, clients and stakeholders position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic initiatives.
  • Support member, client and stakeholder development, retention and satisfaction.
  • Develop retention tactics and strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends in the specialty area and provide recommendations.

As a senior sales and business development support advisor, you help serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. You lead clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact multiple business sectors. You take a strategic mindset to boost the organization’s development and profitability while retaining clients and stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction.You draw on your networking skills and interpersonal savvy to develop and maintain business partnerships with important clients who have complex, diverse needs. Your complex, strategic initiatives require extensive knowledge of sales and service. You analyze highly complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs.You serve as specialist and resource person for your unit, members and clients and represent your unit before decision-making bodies. You help represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients.
