Amazon in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to advance Measurement Ad Tech Data Science. You will design and build petabyte-scale data processing systems enabling precise ad-performance measurements across the ads stack.

You will lead design efforts, mentor teammates, and work with AWS-based tools to deliver scalable solutions at internet scale and drive impact for advertisers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software products that provide measurement data to users across Amazon's advertising suite.
• Demonstrate architectural approaches and patterns; build scalable software in a high-level language.
• Adapt to changing technical environments and devise creative solutions for large-scale problems.
