Job summary

TESC is seeking a Senior Accountant to prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts and analyses that support operational and strategic decision making. The role strengthens internal controls and maintains reliable financial reporting systems.

The Senior Accountant will lead budgeting, model scenario analyses, oversee fixed assets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and processes. CPA or MBA is an asset; 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation and/or MBA is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements with insightful analysis to support decisions.
• Lead development and management of operational and capital budgets, including forecasting.
• Oversee fixed assets lifecycle from acquisitions to disposals, including depreciation and lease schedules.
• Support strategic planning with long-term financial models.
• Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems and reporting processes.
• Ensure strong internal controls across financial operations.
