Westlake Chemical is seeking a senior level professional accountant to support month-end close, plant cost accounting, journal entries, accruals and management reporting in a manufacturing environment. You will gain proficiency in SAP, BPC and Excel through on-the-job training, with 5–7 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Mansioni

• Assist in month-end close with accruals, journal entries, and close reports
• Assist in plant cost accounting and invoicing processes
• Prepare reconciliations and management reports
• Proficiency development in SAP, BPC, Excel and related systems
• Collaborate with plant personnel to obtain information and resolve issues
• Support fixed asset, inventory, and GR/IR processes as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost control initiatives
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior accountants or supervisor
