Qualifications

• 2+ years public-practice accounting experience.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Experience with Caseware and tax software.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and taxation.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare audit, review and compilation engagements.
• Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
• Complete working papers, financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Communicate directly with clients to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Correspond with the CRA on behalf of clients when required.
• Identify accounting and tax issues and bring them forward for resolution.
• Review and provide guidance on the work of junior staff.
• Meet engagement deadlines and maintain high-quality files.
• Develop understanding of clients' businesses and needs.
• Participate in diverse engagements across industries.
