Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries and trial balance preparation.
• Perform bank, AR, AP, and expense reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and compilation engagements.
• Prepare and review GST returns.
• Work directly with clients, resolve queries, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards.
• Support and review work of junior staff.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) with strong expertise in QuickBooks Online and full-cycle accounting. We are focused on Tax Accounting, Compilation and Review Engagements. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with public practice experience to work in a client-focused environment that genuinely invests in its people.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries and trial balance preparation
• Perform bank, AR, AP, and expense reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and compilation engagements.
• Prepare and review GST returns
• Work directly with clients, resolve queries, and ensure timely follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
• Support and review work of junior staff

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 year Canadian Experience in a Public Practice Accounting Firm is a REQUIREMENT for this position though Training is provided for all aspects of the job.
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (Required)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
