Job summary

Baker Tilly Canada in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior Accountant - Private Audit Services to join our team. You will prepare compilations, reviews, NTRs and audit engagements, and mentor staff.

This role requires CPA designation or working towards CPA, strong client service, and ability to meet deadlines; we offer a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and extensive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of UFE/CFE
• Public practice experience is required
• Experienced in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
• Superior people and client service skills
• Good written and verbal communication

• Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadline

Responsibilities

• Preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
• Mentoring and training staff
• Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner
• Corresponding with partners and clients

Your Role:

• Preparing compilations, reviews, NTRs, and audit engagements;
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns,
• Mentoring and training staff;
• Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner;
• Corresponding with partners and clients; and
• Other duties as assigned.
