Our client is an innovative and rapidly growing company that has recently expanded by acquisition. While the financials have been successfully consolidated, they are actively working to streamline and enhance the internal processes. Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced accountant who will take full ownership of all accounting operations.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in the next stage of growth with clear pathways for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of all accounting operations, including preparing monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and overseeing accounts payable/receivable and payroll, and managing the outsourced bookkeeping provider.
• Prepare monthly financial and performance metrics reports, and conduct comprehensive performance analysis.
• Drive cash flow modeling and develop pricing models.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate with tax advisors for filings in both the U.S. and Canada.
• Automate and optimize core accounting and reporting workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA Canada designation is a must
• 5+ years of accounting experience is a must, ideally from SaaS / technology firms, with Big 4 experience being well regarded
• Experience with financial operations, financial metrics, reporting, and performance analysis is a must with hands-on payroll experience
• An analytical mindset, with the ability to work independently, and across functions will be critical to the success of this role.
• Canadian working rights are a must.
