Job summary

Uline in Milton, ON is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Canada finance team. You will work hands-on in our Milton facility, leading core financial processes and collaborating across accounting functions.

CPA-qualified candidates with strong control knowledge are encouraged to apply. The role covers month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll for Canada operations, and supporting corporate tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA designation.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Workday HRIS is a plus.
• Excellent communicator with ability to collaborate and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis and accurate financial reporting.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating discrepancies and ensuring reporting accuracy.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for annual corporate tax filings.
• Oversee the payroll process for Uline’s Canada operations, ensuring accurate processing, thorough audits and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with teams across Uline on financial analysis, reporting and business insights that support informed decisions.
