Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare lead schedules, including fixed asset continuity schedule and accrued expense schedule.
• Maintain tax continuity schedule.
• Support tax reconciliations, including income tax, retail sales tax, harmonized sales tax and insurance premium tax.
• Support management reporting and regulatory filings.
• Conduct variance analysis and commentary.
• Support the external year-end audit process.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager.
