OneSchool Global is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Canadian Regional Support Office. You will oversee financial records, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, support reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits to strengthen internal controls and provide insights for decision-making.

The role covers monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, general ledger management, AR, AP, and process improvements across multi-entity operations in Canada, with collaboration across teams and mentoring of junior

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field required or equivalent.
• CPA designation completed or in progress preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, and audits.
• Experience in nonprofit or multi-entity environments is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts; manage month-end and year-end close.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue recognition processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure regulatory and tax compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement controls.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams.
