Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Nova Scotia seeks a Senior Accountant, Assurance to plan, execute audits, reviews and compilations for diverse clients. You’ll work closely with teams to deliver exceptional client service and help grow our practice.

CPA designation or near completion is required, with 2+ years of public practice audit experience. You will travel within Nova Scotia as needed and contribute to a collaborative, client-focused culture.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or designation near completion.
• 2+ years of public practice audit experience.
• Strong technical expertise in audit, accounting and tax.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and execution of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial conditions.
• Planning fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs.
• Working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service.
• Building our reputation as the preferred business advisers in key sectors.

• Ability to travel within Nova Scotia is a requirement
