BDO Canada’s London-Windsor group is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead external audits and prepare financial statements for clients across industries. The role is a replacement position within the Assurance team.

Your Opportunity

BDO Canada's London-Windsor group of offices are looking for Senior Accountants to join our Assurance team. This is a replacement role where the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements, prepare working papers, and compile financial statements, all in line with regulatory standards.
  • Streamline year-end engagements and prepare tax returns for clients across a variety of industries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, and address their needs and suggestions promptly.
  • Contribute to business development and identify opportunities with existing clients.
  • Keep your team in the loop on progress and potential issues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Your Experience And Education
  • You’re a CPA, or working towards your CPA designation, with at least 3 years of experience in external audit in the public accounting sector.
  • You have a strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
  • You are highly detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • You are proactive in seeking out professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • You have strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

The expected range of compensation for this role is: $ 62,000 to $ 96,000
