Job summary

Musora Media is seeking a finance professional to own month-end close and financial reporting. You will support payroll, payables, receivables, and the capital asset program, while driving automation and efficient processes.

The role offers hybrid work from Abbotsford, BC and collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate has a CPA designation (or in CPA program), 3+ years of accounting experience, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, mix of public and industry.
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close: entries, reconciliations, accruals.
• Solid knowledge of ASPE or IFRS and application to daily transactions.
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and financial reporting with timely postings and reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end working papers and financial reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support payroll, payables, receivables, and cash application processes.
• Lead capital asset program from inventory to capitalization policy and depreciation.
• Take on special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
