Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced finance professional to support ERP transition activities and strengthen budgeting processes. You will track costs against budget, create rolling forecasts, and deliver variance analyses for executive decision-making.

You will monitor key metrics, generate actionable insights, and build dynamic spreadsheets and dashboards to expedite management reporting and decision-making. Collaboration across teams and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree with a major in accounting.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support the transition to an ERP implementation.
• Track business performance by comparing actual costs to budget, and deliver variance reports to management.
• Build and maintain detailed rolling forecasts and budgets with variance analyses for executive decision‑making.
• Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics, turning data trends into actionable insights.
• Develop and streamline spreadsheets, models, and dashboards to minimize manual data entry and speed management reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial and non‑financial information.
• Assist with monthly management and external reporting requirements.
• Maintain internal controls processes and systems.
• Prepare reports and ad hoc analyses for local and parent company.
