Based in Nashville or Phoenix, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting the month-end close, and ensuring accuracy across key reporting functions. What You’ll Do :

• Execute and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Assist with revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including deferred revenue tracking
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries across multiple entities
• Partner with internal departments to validate expense allocations and accruals
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation
• Help implement and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Participate in systems optimization efforts (e.g., ERP automation, reporting tools)
• Contribute to special projects including process improvement initiatives, system migrations, and cross-functional reporting needs

What You Bring :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible a plus)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS, tech, or multi-entity environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
• Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar ERP)
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data sets
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a desire to grow
