Raising The Village seeks a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day Canadian accounting, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting. This hands-on role supports month-end/ year-end close, reconciliations, and audit readiness under the Accounting Manager.
Based in Toronto with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote), you will strengthen controls, compliance, and financial processes, contributing to decision-making and overall financial health.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for Raising The Village’s Canadian operations and safeguards the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of its financial records and reporting. This Senior Accountant will need to be hands-on in maintaining financial records, driving assigned areas of the month-end and year-end close, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations, and supporting audits and process improvements. The Senior Accountant provides timely, reliable financial information to strengthen financial operations and decision-making.
