About the Role

A well-established public practice firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. If you enjoy working in a family-like culture who enjoys a variety of work in a well supported environment, then this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and prepare Compilation, Review, and Audit engagements
• Prepare corporate, trust, and personal tax returns
• Assist with tax planning and estate planning projects
• File GST and other statutory returns
• Prepare T3s, T4s, T5s and other compliance filings
• Liaise directly with clients and support junior team member

What You Bring:

• CPA designation with 7+ years of experience in public practice
• A passion for assurance and tax
• Strong owner-managed businesses and Canadian-controlled private corporations
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently with high level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in CaseWare, Profile, Jazzit, Quickbooks and Sage 50
