Kelly Huibers McNeely Professional Corporation in Stittsville, ON is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role at our office. You will conduct compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements and oversee engagement planning and completion of smaller engagements.

You will also manage file progress, provide ongoing support and mentoring for junior accountants, and collaborate with a collaborative team to deliver high-quality assurance, accounting, and taxation services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a Canadian public accounting firm required.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• CPA designation or student would be considered a strong asset.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software, TaxPrep, CaseWare and MS Office.
