Job summary

VESTA in Ottawa, Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will partner with the finance team to manage budgeting, reporting, and analysis to support growth.

This role oversees day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, payroll, GL), leads budgeting, ensures policy compliance, and conducts cost analyses to improve profitability in stone fabrication. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or college certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, manufacturing or fabrication preferred.
• Strong cost accounting and inventory management knowledge.
• Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with good communication.
