Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract to join a fast-paced finance team in Mississauga. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and process improvement while partnering with operational leaders to drive performance.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GL reconciliations, variance analysis, and KPI reporting; CPA designation or progress is preferred, with 4+ years of experience and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or nearing completion of the CPA program
• 4+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools is an asset
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

Pay Rate

$45.00 / Hour

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
