Job summary

Sentrex Health Solutions in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time, hybrid basis. The role focuses on month-end closing, external and internal reporting, and audits, with responsibility for Sage-based processes and intercompany reconciliations.

You will contribute to budgeting, maintain master data, and liaise with auditors and banks. CPA in progress and a minimum of 3 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or in final stages of completion.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding and experience with ERP systems; Sage 300 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organization's Sage expert user, providing day-to-day system support and best practice guidance to the finance team.
• Own Master Data Management, including user accounts, items, price lists, and chart of accounts maintenance.
• Prepare monthly GL accounts reconciliations and schedules for Balance Sheet accounts.
• Maintain subledger reconciliations with the general ledger and investigate differences.
• Prepare monthly intercompany and clearing accounts reconciliations.
• Participate in month-end close and Financial Statements preparation.
• Provide FP&A support with budget-to-actual analysis and during budget preparation.
• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, insurance companies, etc.
• Additional duties as determined by your Manager.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the CorporateControllerthe Senior Accountant is an integral member of the finance team, providing support throughout month end closing, external and internal reporting, and audits.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here)

• The anticipated base salary hiring range for this role is 80K to 100K annually. The final base salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
