Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Reviewing and reconciling accounts
2. Processing payments to external partners
3. Maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts
4. Filing monthly sales tax and EHT returns
5. Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit
6. Participating in the rollout of finance projects and initiatives
7. Helping with the finance team all duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
8. Responsible for all accounting work related to taxes, including bookkeeping and invoicing

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from an accredited institute or equivalent experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
3. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language
4. Strong computer skills including ERP systems, Microsoft Office
5. Proactive problem-solving/judgment skills
6. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
7. Attention to detail
8. Organized, proactive, and self-motivated individual capable of producing results and meeting deadlines
9. Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
10. Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, business environment
11. Expected to manage work with minimum supervision
