Job summary

NUMIS CPAs is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Kelowna team for in-person collaboration. The role emphasizes high-level preparation, first review of compilations, and overseeing complex engagements with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will mentor staff, review tax returns, and ensure quality client service while supporting a growing practice in BC. CPA designation preferred and 2+ years in public practice are expected.

Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred
• 2+ years with relevant public practice experience
• Experience with Review & Compilations
• Experience with Caseware, CCH iFirm, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint)
• Exposure to paperless systems, including QuickBooks Online, and SharePoint considered an asset
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Excellent time management skills
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with the team when required
• Driven to meet simultaneous deadlines and adapt to competing priorities
