Senior Account Manager, ISV Canada at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a full-time, field sales role based in Vancouver, BC, with a base salary range of $123,600–$206,300 CAD per year. The position targets Canada's independent software vendor (ISV) segment and carries quarterly revenue targets.
Day to day, you'll manage a defined territory of strategic ISV accounts, building relationships from the CXO level down to software developers and IT architects. Your focus is driving AWS cloud adoption, growing revenue, and negotiating large-scale technology deals.
This role covers the full sales cycle for a portfolio of strategic Canadian ISV accounts. You'll develop and execute a territory coverage plan, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and close complex deals involving AWS infrastructure, platform, and software services. Quarterly revenue targets are a firm part of the job.
Beyond direct sales, you'll build long-term joint go-to-market relationships with key accounts and work with partners to extend reach. You'll create compelling value propositions around AWS services, tailored to each customer's technical and business context.
The base salary range is $123,600–$206,300 CAD annually, with final pay determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may also include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable.
AWS offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Workplace accommodations are available during the application, interview, and onboarding process on request.
The role spans territory planning, direct enterprise sales, and partner coordination. You'll own the full relationship with a set of strategic ISV accounts, from pipeline development through contract close and ongoing adoption growth.
The posting sets a high bar for direct sales experience in software and cloud markets, with engagement at the executive level required. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience) is listed as a basic qualification, alongside several years of quota-carrying sales or business development experience.
