Job Opportunity: Network Operations Engineer (Hybrid)

With a strong foothold in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and beyond, they offer expertise in assessing, designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive IT solutions on the following areas:

  • Data Center Optimization and Virtualization

They are seeking a seasoned Account Executive to join their dynamic Sales & Marketing team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in crafting and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives. A comprehensive understanding of contemporary IT trends, products, and services is essential. Previous experience in selling professional services and managed solutions is highly advantageous and aligns with the client's strategic focus.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a relentless drive to succeed. Collaboration with the technical pre-sales team is crucial for identifying and capitalizing on new leads, while independently cultivating new business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive towards achieving assigned sales quotas, including Gross Profit, Professional Services, and Monthly Recurring Revenue
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to engage potential clients and facilitate the sale of IT products and services
  • Deliver product demonstrations and present proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, engineering, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on sales performance to management

To excel in this role, candidates must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. A deep understanding of IT products and services, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to clients, is essential.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of outbound prospecting experience in the IT industry
  • Proven track record of selling IT solutions, managed services, or professional services
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Skills and Competencies
  • Experience in IT solution selling across various domains, including but not limited to
  • Network Infrastructure (Cisco, Fortinet - Must have familiarity)
  • Microsoft Azure (Must have familiarity)
  • Server Solutions (e.g., HPE, Dell, Lenovo, IBM)
  • Storage Solutions (e.g., IBM, Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE)
  • Security Software
  • Virtualization Solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Hybrid work model (2/3 days a week in office)

Salary: Starting from $85,000 - $90,000 per annum

Language Requirement: French proficiency not mandatory

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
