Job summary

Jobgether in Canada seeks a Senior 3D & AI Systems Software Developer to build backend systems powering intelligent 3D design reviews. You will work at the intersection of backend engineering, CAD, geometry processing, and ML to analyze complex 3D models at scale.

You will collaborate with ML teams, design extensible architectures, and help deliver AI-assisted workflows in a highly autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend software development experience in a product or platform setting.
• Strong 3D mathematics knowledge with CAD/geometry experience.
• Experience with 3D/CAD tech like HOOPS, OpenCascade or Parasolid.
• Proven ability to build scalable backend services and APIs.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with ML/AI concepts and production deployments.
• Experience integrating LLMs via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
• Knowledge of PyTorch, Hugging Face or Scikit-learn.
• Cloud experience (AWS) for ML services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development for 3D AutoReview features from design to production.
• Build scalable APIs to analyze 3D models and run geometry processing.
• Experiment with geometry parsing, model analysis, and AI-driven review workflows.
• Design extensible systems with rules, reference data, and scalable workflows.
• Collaborate with ML teams to integrate AI into 3D review processes.
• Support embeddings, inference, model integration, and AI-driven analysis.
• Partner with backend, frontend, and product teams to deliver high-impact capabilities.
• Explore new techniques and solve complex geometry and AI problems with minimal guidance.
