Responsibilities

• Maintain self-checkout area standards: clean, safe, organized; remove debris and spills.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives (credit services, product protection, charitable initiatives) when applicable.
• Assist customers at self-checkout; explain interventions in a friendly manner and escalate issues as needed.
• Respond to EAS alarms and complete the Failure to Deactivate log accurately.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment; return scanners to storage after use.
• Be flexible with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
