Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant to join our Camrose, AB store. You will assist customers at the self-checkout area, help ensure a smooth checkout experience, and keep the area clean, safe, and organized for every shopper.

The role includes promoting Walmart programs, responding to alarms, handling Scan & Go equipment, and delivering friendly service while supporting customers with quick, accurate transactions.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards: keep area clean, safe, and organized; free of debris and spills.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives: support credit card services, protection plans, and charitable initiatives when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout: help customers use self checkout quickly, explain interventions kindly, escalate issues when needed.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation: handle alarms and log the 'Failure to Deactivate'.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: ensure scanners are returned to storage after use.
