Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant at our London, ON location. The role focuses on delivering friendly, helpful service and assisting customers completing transactions in the self‑service area.

You will maintain a clean, safe checkout zone and promote Walmart programs while supporting customers at the self-checkout. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to assist customers at self-checkout quickly and confidently.

Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete DocumentationResponds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.Manage Scan & Go EquipmentEnsures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
