This role is a strong fit for individuals seeking an engaging position in a fast‐paced customer service or retail environment.## What you'll do...**WHAT YOU'LL DO Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards** Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills. **Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives** Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable. **Support Customers at Self Checkout** Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager. **Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation** Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log. **Manage Scan & Go Equipment** Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use. **Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)** • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
