A prominent law firm in Western Canada is seeking a senior corporate paralegal to join their Langley office. Job description

Our client is one of Western Canada’s largest full-service law firms with locations conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, and Langley. They seeking a senior corporate paralegal to work full-time based in their Langley office. This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Drafting corporate legal documentation including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, various share transactions, extra provincial registrations, various types of dividend transactions, name changes, restorations and other documents as required
  • Mentoring, training and coaching Corporate Services staff members
  • Corresponding with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructions
  • Conducting minute book reviews and fixing deficiencies as required
  • Acting as point of contact for corporate client inquiries
  • Other administrative duties as required
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practice
  • 3+ years of training and management experience
  • A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Understanding of BC Online, ALF, iManage, Outlook and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

The typical salary range for this position is$105,00 – $115,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related skills/knowledge, experience, and internal and market equity.
