Job summary

Job Bank is seeking a skilled electronics service technician for a permanent full-time on-site role in Ottawa. You will inspect, install, test, repair, and calibrate electronic equipment at a fixed location, following blueprints and quality procedures.

You should have 2–3 years of experience, a 1–2 year college diploma, and the ability to supervise others while delivering excellent customer service. On-site work only, parking available.

Qualifications

• Two years to less than three years experience in electronic equipment service.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• On-site work at a fixed location in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to determine repair requirements.
• Install electronic equipment.
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand or power tools.
• Diagnose circuit, component, and equipment faults.
• Test and adjust repaired products for proper function.
• Calibrate products using hand tools.

• Salary 37.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
