Job summary

Securitas Technology Canada is hiring a Security System Technician to install, configure and service Card Access, CCTV, and monitoring systems for clients in the Dartmouth area. You will ensure proper integration and operation of security solutions onsite.

Under supervision of the District Installation Manager, you will perform site surveys, perform on-call maintenance, and coordinate with clients and internal teams. Full benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience installing security systems including card access, CCTV, intrusion and fire monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and perform preventative maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and service Card Access, Intrusion Monitoring, Fire Monitoring and CCTV systems.
• Perform site surveys, reconfigurations, removals or relocations as required.
• Provide technical and user support to clients for efficient system operation.
• Complete safety paperwork, drawings, and work orders with serial numbers and client sign-off.
• Update project manager on installation status and maintain stock levels.
• Participate in training and company programs to keep skills updated.
