Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor access and activities in a high-security environment in the Rocky Harbour/Deer Lake area, ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires vigilance, documentation, and the ability to respond decisively to incidents.

You will perform regular wellness checks, report risks, and maintain accurate observations, with opportunities for ongoing training through GardaWorld Campus, uniform provided, and competitive pay with probation

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
• Clean criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Background in law enforcement, police services, corrections, or care for vulnerable persons is an asset.
• Professionalism, discipline, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• SSATL

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous surveillance of persons in a controlled environment.
• Perform wellness checks at 15 minute intervals, in accordance with security standards and procedures.
• Identify and report risk situations or medical concerns.
• Respond professionally, calmly, and in compliance during sensitive situations.
• Accurately complete official documentation and observation reports.
