Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Alberta Security License.
• Minimum 1 year control room/dispatch experience.
• Previous security concierge experience is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and typing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with monitoring and operation of video and surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access, ensuring only authorized employees, guests, contractors and visitors enter restricted areas.
• Monitor building alarms and security notifications, investigate alerts, and elevate incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Control and monitor access credentials, keys, fobs, visitor passes, and other security related assets.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone
