GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Toronto to monitor CCTV, access points, and patrol premises, ensuring threats are detected early. You will document incidents and assist with investigations.

The role requires a valid Ontario security license, at least 1 year in security, and strong report-writing skills. GardaWorld Academy training and full-time shifts Mon-Fri 10:00–18:00 are provided.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Ontario security license.
• WSIB approved first aid certification.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as security operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
